We strive to deliver and provide your loved one with your iCare order as quickly as possible.  In many of these facilities or housing locations, we must abide by certain restrictions which may delay your iCare order.  Please be assured, we know that your package or order is important and we will continue to fulfill it as soon as we can.

Who is Eligible to Recieve an iCare Order?

  • Inmates with a positive trust fund balance of $3.00 or more.
  • If an inmate does not have sufficient funds, you may be able to add a financial deposit on their account via TOUCHPAY. See the link on the website below.
  • Upon placing a financial deposit on an inmate account, please wait 24 HRS before attempting to place an iCare order.
  • All  inmates with the exception of those placed on County-Directed “restriction”.
  • Inmates who have been placed on restriction, will not be eligible to receive an iCare order. If a purchase has been made for an inmate that has become ineligible after the transaction has been placed, ARAMARK will first work with appropriate facility staff to determine whether 1) The iCare order can be delivered in the future 2) The iCare order is to be credited back to the purchaser’s credit card.

Facility Restrictions:

  • Inmates are allowed to receive 1 iCare bag per week.


Delivery Schedule Information:

Below is our standard delivery schedule.  Please carefully review the information since your iCare order must be ordered and processed before the required date to have it delivered to your loved one.  In the event your loved one can not recieve your order on the scheduled delivery date, we will continue to make every effort to deliver the order on the next scheduled delivery date.

ARAMARK will deliver all iCare orders to the county based upon the below schedule the county will then deliver:

Please note:  Due to a system failure we are unable to pull any orders from iCare. All orders placed after December 17th will not be able to be processed and or delivered until December 27th and 28th.  We apologize for this inconvenience. Thanks, The iCare Team.

**  Due to the requirements of The Mecklenburg County Jail, iCare deliveries will not be made on the following days:
November 22nd and 23rd, 2012
December 24th, 25th and 31st, 2012
January 1st, 2013

Please allow 2 full business days for delivery. If your loved one is at court or in visitation at the time of delivery we will attempt to deliver again on the next scheduled delivery day.

* The delivery schedule is subject to change based upon operational needs by either the County or ARAMARK. 
* All orders must be received within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time. If the order is not received within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time, the order will be delivered the next available schedule.
 

How and When are Refunds Issued?

  • Orders placed on behalf of an inmate who is released prior to receipt of their iCare order may call ARAMARK and arrange to pick up the order.
  • If, for any reason the detainee is placed on restriction after an iCare order has been placed, ARAMARK will make all attempts to schedule a future delivery of the iCare order. If delivery is not possible, a refund will be provided.
